Hello, my name is George Galindo and I am currently a Masters level graduate clinician at Clearhope Counseling. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Youth Ministry with a minor in Family Studies from Abilene Christian University. I am in the process of completing my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University. I am currently under the supervision of Ana Valenzuela, LPC

.

I am pursuing a career as a marriage and family therapist because of my passion and love for families and couples. My desire is to see couples and families work together to get through challenges together and come out stronger than ever. I truly believe that the right tools and skills can help any couple and family overcome all challenges. Models that I enjoy using include Emotionally Focused Family Therapy (EFT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

Therapy can be intimidating, so my goal is to ensure that my sessions are welcoming and promote an environment that is open and calm. I also understand that sharing stories and being vulnerable can be difficult. Therefore, working with clients to develop a strong therapeutic relationship where there is trust between the client and myself is the most important step to success.

I have years of experience working with adolescents and families in my current career field and thoroughly enjoy working with these populations. Because of my passion for couples and families, I am committed to partnering with couples and families to develop new tools, new skills, and new beginnings.

I look forward to working alongside you to help reach your goals and potential!
