Why mental health matters to me:
I've learned so much over the last three years about mental health. There is such a huge stigma regarding mental health and whether or not it is a valid concern for individuals. I've seen first hand what struggling with mental health can do to a person. It affects everything....Their ability to think clearly, to be confident in who they are and their overall health. This is why it is so important to have local resources to remove access barriers for mental wellness.
Why the mission and vision of CHC are important for our communities:
The Clearhope's mission is extremely important to our communities!! Now more than ever, we need to be the change. We need someone to stand in the gap of helping others who can't help themselves. No one should hurt alone and it's our job to be their voice!
